Hi, my daughter is a student in the 4th grade and she has been nagging me to get more involved in the PTSA since she started kindergarten here at Desert Heights. Well, this year she finally got her wish. My husband and I have owned our own business for about a year and a half now. My hubby was always spending money online at Ebay buying Snap-on tools; so we decided it was time to own our own franchise. It has been exciting building our business. Now that we have some of the routine stuff down, we decided it was time to focus on becoming more involved and hands on with our daughters education. Like you, we are concerned about what our daughter is exposed to and that is why we decided DHCS was the school for us. I cannot imagine a better environment for her. I look forward to meeting more parents and working together to continue to support the school that is our children’s second home.

"Hello! I have been a Desert Heights parent since 2003; my 2 sons are in 2nd and 5th Grades. I really enjoy the 'small town' feel of our school and will stay here until my boys graduate...I hope Desert Heights builds a high school because I don't know what I'll do then!
Last year was my first year as a PTSA Board Member and let me tell you...it was a total blast. I had so much fun organizing many of the events and meeting all the parents who religiously volunteer for everything. I am looking forward to another fabulous year, with many of the same great events.....and some new events and seminars thrown in for good measure.
My goal is to continue to build a strong PTSA team that is organized, dependable and most of all....FUN!"
